In six years of promoting an event with the best of the young talent from the North East I can honestly say no one has moved me more than Bee. I have seen a packed room full of people aged from 15 to 65 pinned to the wall by the crystal perfection of this girl's voice, shifting from icy sardonic reflection to heartbreaking warmth and longing. It takes something incredible to bring a tear to my wandering beat eyes, or make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and she managed it every time, even when she looked like she had drunk too much wine to get on the stage.
She has a rare and precious very British gift that should be cherished , and i implore anybody who reads this to see her live to see what i mean - and then tell her what you think. When her self belief reaches the level of her talent she will take on the whole world and win. I dont ever say things like this to be nice because i'm not.." - Andy Willoughby, poet & promoter
