The Bees are back. Free, single and ready to bring their psych/funk/reggae/rock madness to the masses once more.
The band have been away for a while, but during that time theyve been back on the Isle Of Wight, writing & recording for their new LP, the follow-up to 2007s widely acclaimed Octopus (NME - psyc-era Beatles with a dollop of reggae for good measure, Times **** Daily Mirror **** The Independent *****).
The band also released a compilation of cuts from their infamous DJ sets this year, The Bees Sound Selection, which NME said was exactly the kind of sunshine fuelled mix-tape you need in your life.
The new LP will be released in 2009, but in the meantime, Dead Young are pleased to announce 3, unique, one-off live shows for The Bees in December.
